Overview
ACR is a multi-commodity resource development company primarily focussed in Zimbabwe. The Company benefits from a first mover advantage, having been active in the country since 2004, and as a result, has established a formidable balance sheet of world class assets at various stages of development. The broad commodity focus, which includes gold, nickel, copper, platinum, rock phosphate and diamonds, provides for a balanced asset portfolio, with multi-mineral robustness.
ACR has a defined development strategy which has delivered value as promised. The Company has established its portfolio and is now evolving into a resource definition phase, which it believes will lead to creation of multiple mines. The portfolio includes JORC compliant gold resources of 1.54 million oz at the Gadzema Project and Pickstone-Peerless Project, with a target of defining 2-3 million ounces, highly prospective greenfield projects on recognised productive greenstone belts, a layered ultramafic nickel sulphide project with a 30km strike, a nickel laterite project with potential for approx 200,000 tonnes of contained metal, a large rock phosphate deposit and a potential 50 million ounces of platinum at Snakeshead.
The Company has a highly experienced management and technical team, which are all in-country, as well as 200+ employees of which 98% are Zimbabwean. ACR uses leading-edge exploration technologies such as spatial data management software, 3D visualisation, new geophysical modelling techniques, innovative geochemistry and risk-managed targeting to advance its highly prospective projects.
It has developed extensive in-country expertise and strong relationships with key industry figures and government authorities and is benefitting from the significant political progress being made in Zimbabwe, and the rise in foreign investment. The Board is committed to the rapid development of the strategic national assets for the benefit of the Zimbabwean people and ACR shareholders and believes it is ideally placed to create value.
